We may verify Business licence details with relevant state licensing authorities to confirm the accuracy of information provided.

5.1 To other TradeHaven users

When a Customer submits a quote request, their name, phone number, email, suburb, and job description are disclosed to the relevant Business(es) to facilitate the introduction.

Business profile information (name, trade, service areas, photos, reviews) is displayed publicly on the directory.

5.2 To service providers

We engage third-party service providers to assist with email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your information to provide services to us.

5.3 Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TradeHaven, our users, or the public.

5.4 We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some of our third-party service providers may be located overseas (for example, cloud hosting or email services in the United States). Where we disclose information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Business account data is retained for the life of the account and up to 7 years after account closure for tax and compliance purposes. Customer quote request data is retained for up to 2 years.
